Please join the SOLE SURVIVORS team and participate in the Norton Virtual Hike. Every dollar raised contributes to advancing treatments for lung diseases!
The Norton Virtual Hike challenges you to take 1,000 steps to commemorate the 1,000 lung transplants performed at St. Joseph's. While the event is Dec. 4, 2021, you can hike anytime and anywhere you like (even if it's just to and from the sofa to the fridge).
Whether or not you can hike, I hope you'll consider making a donation, which will be matched 100% by our leading Norton Thoracic Institute surgeon, Dr. Ross Bremner.
This event is inspired by a COVID survivor who is challenging the team that saved his life at the Norton to climb Camelback Mountain with him. I'm donating and hiking in memory of dad, who lost his battle with lung disease a few months shy of his 79th birthday and three weeks before his 50th wedding anniversary.
Please join me meet my fundraising goal (and help me keep my job) with your registration and donation. I'd be extremely grateful!!
P.S. The above photo was taken on top of a "mountain" during a family reunion in New Hampshire. Please, if you register for the hike (or even if you don't), share some photos of your adventure using #NortonHike.
